Building Games with Brands: The Why and How of working with external IP

Speaker Bio

Maurice van der Boor is a product and game-production leader with 18 years of experience in games. His journey spans console and PC production roles through to pioneering social-platform and mobile games. He excels at uniting creative vision, technical execution and commercial objectives to bring high-quality titles to market.

Since 2024, Maurice has operated as an independent consultant, advising studios and publishers on product strategy, business development and providing end-to-end production leadership. He helps these teams refine roadmaps, optimize development pipelines and execute go-to-market plans.

Maurice also produces games with his game studio Omni Play.

Before, Maurice lead Azerion’s casual games studio team, which oversees a broad portfolio of games across many platforms on mobile and web. He was product manager at data platform Data.ai and product owner and game producer at CoolGames and Playlogic.
