Follow the story of Meredith Weiss, who grew up in the small town Providence Oaks, but spent the last seventeen years in a big city. Now in her forties, she just returned to temporarily take over for her father, the local mail carrier.

During her route delivering the mail, Meredith may spend time with any of the residents, offering to help out when called upon. Perhaps she enjoys keeping the old lady and her cats’ company or maybe she is drawn to the stoic fisherman? What will happen during these three weeks? Will she be glad to return to her demanding job in the big city? Or will unexpected events make her stay in her idyllic hometown?
