Vici Games has developed an innovative system for patients at the age of 4 to 14 which aims to make breathing exercises for children both fun and stimulating. The most important innovation is the synergy between the serious game (software that contains the prescribed breathing exercises and can also perform lung function measurements); the spirometer (used as a real-time game controller for the serious game); and the interface for the healthcare professional (to monitor the patient’s progress and also enables professionals to easily modify exercises and adjust therapy).
