General Information

What is INDIGO?

INDIGO is the leading game business and showcase event in the Netherlands, organized by Dutch Game Garden.  Join INDIGO to find your next business opportunity at MeetToMatch listen to inspiring and practical talks during TALKS, and play the best games and connect with its developers at DISCOVER.

Where and when is INDIGO?

The thirteenth edition of INDIGO takes place both virtually and on-site on June 17th 2022. Our Talks Conference and MeetToMatch will be held on-site at the Dotslash Campus. Our Discover Showcase is streamed virtually and for free on Twitch and you can also choose to attend the famous  MeetToMatch virtually. Check out our tickets page for more info!

What are the MeetToMatch, Talks Conference, and Discover Showcase tracks?

INDIGO offers three tracks for visitors. MeetToMatch allows you to schedule private meetings with publishers, investors, and service providers. Talks Conference provides inspiring lectures from industry professionals to help you level up your business. The Discover Showcase invites you to discover the latest BENELUX games and get to know the devs during our day-long Twitch stream.

What are the travel options to INDIGO?

If you are attending the on-site conference and/or on-site MeetToMatch, we welcome you at the Dotslash Campus in Utrecht. See our location page for address info. You can take a bus or a tram to the terrain from Utrecht Central Station.

There is also parking space at the campus, which costs €0,50 per hour (first hour is free). To reach the parking space, enter the terrain via the Eendrachtlaan – entrance C (after the parking space of Van Der Valk). Read more about parking at Dotslash here (Dutch).

How often does INDIGO take place?

INDIGO takes place once a year during the summer. However, Dutch Game Garden is often present at game events or conferences. You might have seen us during the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, Dutch YouTube GatheringCampus Party Europe, or Gamescom in Cologne.

Where did you get those nice white arcade cabinets?

Industrial designer Martijn Koch gave us the perfect solution for a sleek, modern showcase: stylish, handmade Retro Space arcade cabinets. The cabinets come with an extra screen in the back and completely in white, specifically tweaked for us.

Preparing for INDIGO

Where can I buy a ticket for INDIGO?

Tickets to INDIGO 2022 will be available very soon. Subscribe to our newsletter to keep up to date with all announcements surrounding INDIGO ticket sales.

Where can I see other attendees?

If you have a TALKS or MeetToMatch ticket you’ll be able to see other attendees on-site or in the MeetToMatch platform. You’ll get an invite to the platform a few weeks before INDIGO so you can set up your profile, company, and possibly your game for the showcase.

If you only are watching the showcase virtually, you will be able to chat with the other attendees, streamers and devs through Twitch.

I bought the wrong ticket, what do I do?

Bummer! Contact us with your information and we will try to fix it. Please note that for INDIGO we do not have a refund policy.

Can I be a volunteer at INDIGO?

Yes you can! We’d love to welcome you on the team and gift you a beautiful and limited edition INDIGO t-shirt! Contact us to register as a volunteer.

Is there an age limit?

The recommended age for people taking part in the event is 16. As this year will be a hybrid event it will be more difficult for us to check this. So, we advise everyone to be over the age of 16.

Is there WiFi?

There will be WiFi at the Dotslash Campus, both in the cafeteria and MeetToMatch area on the terrain. Unfortunately, for conference visitors, we cannot guarantee a fast connection, as the WiFi will be used by a lot of attendees.

What is the code of conduct?
