What is INDIGO?
Where and when is INDIGO?
The twelfth edition of INDIGO will be a hybrid event due to the corona outbreak. As of right now, it is not sure in what capacity the event will be physical or online. As things stand, on the 25th of June 2021 everyone who has a ticket can join us in online streams for talks, playing games and online meetings with MeetToMatch. The date and location for next year are not available yet.
What are the MeetToMatch, TALKS, and DISCOVER tracks?
INDIGO offers three tracks for visitors. MeetToMatch allows you to schedule private meetings with publishers, investors, and service providers. TALKS provides inspiring lectures from industry professionals to help you level up your business. DISCOVER invites you to discover all games during the showcase. Read more about the tracks on our About page.
What are the travel options to INDIGO?
INDIGO 2021 will be mostly online. So, no need to travel. You can attend the event from the comforts of your home. If anything changes in the next couple of months, we will make sure to let everyone know.
How often does INDIGO take place?
Where did you get those nice white arcade cabinets?
Industrial designer Martijn Koch gave us the perfect solution for a sleek, modern showcase: stylish, handmade Retro Space arcade cabinets. The cabinets come with an extra screen in the back and completely in white, specifically tweaked for us.
Preparing for INDIGO
Where can I buy a ticket for INDIGO?
Where can I see other attendees?
If you have a TALKS or MeetToMatch ticket you’ll be able to see other attendees in the MeetToMatch platform. You’ll get an invite to the platform a few weeks before INDIGO so you can set up your profile, company, and possibly your game for the showcase.
I bought the wrong ticket, what do I do?
Can I be a volunteer at INDIGO?
As of right now, the event will be Hybrid, this means most of the event will be online. If you fill in this form, we will get back to you as soon as we can, but we are not promising anything right now.
Is there an age limit?
The recommended age for people taking part in the event is 16. As this year will be a hybrid event it will be more difficult for us to check this. So, we advise everyone to be over the age of 16.
Is there WiFi?
If there is a physical part of the event, there will be WiFi. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a fast connection, as the WiFi will be used by a lot of attendees.
How do I show my game at INDIGO?
Through the submission form, you can submit your game for this year’s showcase. We encourage both professionals and students to submit their games. We only accept teams with developers from the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg). We ask developers to attend the showcase to present their game during a live stream with our international audience. Dutch Game Garden makes the final selection of games that will be used.
When do I submit my game?
After submitting your game in the submission form, we’ll play your game to make a selection for the showcase. If you are selected, we request that you send us a new build before the 14th of June. We’ll contact you in any case if you are selected.
I’m from the press/I want to write an article about INDIGO.
Can I be a sponsor/partner of INDIGO?
