Homewords is an adventure/story-driven game inspired by games like Earthbound, and Ace Attorney. In Homewords you play as a mute young adult, Vincent, who has to help a rude child, Zoë, find her parents on an alien planet. Since Vincent is mute, Zoë has to do all the talking.
This is where you, the player, come in. During conversations, it’s your job to interrupt Zoë before she insults anyone. Besides that, in conversations, you have to guide her using items you found in the world and use your notebook to help her make choices. As the game goes on you have to help her get through increasingly more difficult social situations.
